Vision

We don’t like seeing the demise of high street commerce at the expense of e-commerce. Physical locations are busy repurposing and reinventing themselves to provide better and immersive experiences to consumers. We truly believe that retail bricks-and-mortar establishments will be unrecognizable in 5-10 years time.

They will be compelling places to visit and experience. They will not track me, not know who I am, yet allow me to pay using facial recognition. Merchants and brands will be able to provide meaningful and tactile interaction with products that you cannot experience in the ether.

HelloThing’s goal is to give physical places their own sense of Sight, Hearing and Smell that owners can use to create better experiences for their customers. We have have already covered Sight with our Computer Vision solution. We are determined to integrate all three senses into a single, affordable device that any sized location can use.

Our goal is to combine Sight, Acoustics and Digital Olfaction into a single platform on a democratized basis. The digital detection of odors, and the digital transmission and re-creation of smells could potentially revolutionize a range of industries, from fragrances and food to the environmental and health care sectors.

CONNECTING PEOPLE, PLACES AND THINGS HAS BEEN IN OUR DNA FOR 10 YEARS AND WE ARE DETERMINED TO HELP THE HIGH STREET REALIZE THIS VISION.

Our pedigree

HelloThing is an IoT platform wholly owned by FastComm USA LLC that focuses on the “Display of Things” market. We are a tech company that has been around for 20 years, successfully exiting some businesses, pivoted others and continue to innovate and push the boundaries. Fastcomm has been in the ‘Internet of Things’ sector before it even had a name.  We started monitoring 6,000 Walmart stores 10 years ago when it was called Machine-to-Machine technology.  We are a passionate business of engineers, technologists, designers, product owners, scrum masters and  unusual thinkers. We are not a large business, but very large businesses believe and trust us.
